Abstract (Croatian)

Tema ovog završnog rada je analiza i usporedba performansi zrakoplova u penjanju primjenom metode ukupne energije. Promatrat će se zrakoplovi koji prema karakteristikama nalikuju MiG-21bis i F-16 Block52. Na početku su izračunate sve karakteristike otpora za MiG-21 sa raketama i bez njih, kao i za F-16 sa raketama. Nakon čega se računaju karakteristike pogona. Pomoću sile pogona i otpora prikazana su područja mogućeg leta na različitim visinama, u kojima pogonska sila nadjačava otpor. Koristeći navedene sile izračunava se višak snage, kao bitan faktor određivanja vremena trajanja leta. Zrakoplovi se promatraju kao središte mase koje ima sve izračunate karakteristike. Primjenom metode ukupne energije određuju se režimi koji daju minimalno vrijeme trajanja leta. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata, uspoređuju se zrakoplovi i analizira se prednost jednoga u odnosu na drugi i obrnuto.

Abstract

Topic of this bachelor thesis is analysis and comparison of the aircraft performances while climbing, using the minimal energy method. Examined aircraft's characteristics resemble the MiG-21bis and F-16 Block52. At the beginning all the characteristics of the drag are calculated both for the MiG-21 with two missiles and without them, like the ones for the F-16 with two missiles. Thrust characteristics are calculated after it. Using the results of the drag and the thrust, region where flight can be sustained is shown, that is the area where thrust overcomes the drag. Using the given forces excess power is calculated, which is a essential for calculating time of the flight. Aircraft are examined like a mass point which have all the characteristics as calculated. Minimal flight time regimes are determined using the minimal energy method. Using the results, aircraft are compared and advantage of one over another is analysed.
